 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Black Swan Drainage about a leak from my upstairs shower that was causing water to come through the downstairs ceiling.

I paid £80 for the diagnosis. The plumber tested around the shower drain and sealant, found water trapped beneath the flooring outside the shower, and suggested that the enclosure sealant could be the cause. However, I felt the investigation wasn’t thorough enough, and I was left without a clear answer about the source of the leak.

The problem later required another plumber to investigate and cap off a leaking pipe, leaving my shower unusable. Initially, I was disappointed because I felt the £80 hadn’t helped me identify the underlying issue.

However, Black Swan Drainage subsequently contacted me, refunded the £80 and shared some contacts for renovation work. I appreciate that they took my concerns seriously and made an effort to help resolve the situation.

Although I was disappointed with the initial diagnosis, I’m pleased with how they handled my feedback afterwards.

We had an issue with a blocked waste pipe which was identified and fixed with no fuss.  Very friendly and helpful about fittings we could change to avoid the same happening again.
